The Zoo in Review 10.13.15

What’s up Cats?

We hope your midterms aren’t completely killing you and that knowing homecoming is less than 2 weeks away is keeping you semi-sane. We also hope you have been keeping up to date on Arizona Athletics but if not, we got you covered. Women’s soccer ventured to Los Angeles for the weekend where they fought hard but it just wasn’t enough to beat USC and UCLA. The Cats play Washington State this Friday and we know the girls are going fight their hardest to pull a win. Volleyball also played Washington State this past Friday and won the match without any trouble. They have their next game on Friday against UCLA in Los Angeles and we are certain they’ll bring back a W. After a dry spell of two hard losses to UCLA and Stanford, our football team beat Oregon State 44-7 this past Saturday and with Anu Solomon back as starting QB, things are really looking up. Cats play Colorado in Boulder this week at 6:00 pm and will be aired on Fox Sports 1. But make sure to head over to Schrier's Sports Grill at 5:30 pm to grab your spot at our ZonaZoo Watch Party! It's sure to be a blast!

Most importantly to be highlighted this week is the fact that ZonaZoo is throwing a big event, Runderwear, where wearing clothing is optional, but donating it is not. Bring by clothing that you don’t need and then run in your underwear with us for our inaugural Runderwear (we know, so clever right?)! The run starts at 6:00 pm but be there at 5:00 pm for check-in! With your donation, you’ll also get a free pair of underwear or boxers while supplies last. Check out @ZonaZooOfficial on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, etc. to see a preview of what they look like, because trust us, they’re awesome.

This Saturday is also a big day for Arizona Athletics due to the fact that we have the Red and Blue Game to look forward to! We hope you all got up and reserved on Sunday for your spot in the Zoo because the game is official sold out! The festivities start at 1:00 pm, but make sure to get there early as it is general admission for ALL 14,655 people attending. Come and see what to expect from 2015-2016 Basketball squad this year! Warm up your vocal chords for the upcoming season cause the boys love the support from the Zoo!

Until next week kiddos, Bear Down
